TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
