TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
