Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and check here the bonus terms, is at check here Trade The Day.
